Ministry of Health clarifies letter of the law

Dubai: Expatriates under the labour category, including nannies, housekeepers, nursery and kindergarten supervisors, salon workers, beauty and health clubs, and nutrition workers, have to complete the hepatitis B vaccinations, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry has issued a circular to all the preventive medicine departments, in line with the cabinet’s decision of 2010. The vaccinations have to be taken in three doses – a dose after one month of the first and the third, six months after the second.
