Daman to give up exclusive billing rights

Abu Dhabi: The National Health Insurance Company (Daman), will be giving up its exclusivity rights for direct billing within the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company's (SEHA's) health care facilities in the UAE, effective February 1.

Previously, patients not insured by Daman were requested to pay the cost of rendered services in cash while Daman cardholders need only to present their cards.
