Could this Dubai rumour bee true?

Dubai: A honey-manufacturing company has made some thought provoking statements as to how beneficial its product can be.

What’s the claim?

Refwa Royal Honey Power products claim to have the ability to improve your immune system, activate your blood cells, and boost your memory.

The online store, which also sells its products in the UAE, has been registered by Dubai Municipality.

However, the Consumer Products Safety Section at the municipality on Tuesday warned consumers not to believe the claims, as they have all been unproven.

“We request the public not to follow the unproven claims on Refwa Royal Honey Power products, which are marketed through the company’s website,” said Dubai Municipality on its official Facebook page.

Dubai Municipality also pointed out that no approval was issued for the allegations mentioned in the advertisements, and that no certificates or accredited studies were given to prove the claims.
