University launches Arabic and Islamic culture courses for Chinese students

Move comes in line with the directives of Sharjah Ruler to promote and enrich Arabic language globally

Sharjah: The University of Sharjah has launched its first diploma Program to teach Arabic language and Islamic culture and history to Chinese students affiliated with the Xi’an International University (XAIU) in China.

The move comes in pursuance of the directives of His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, to promote and enrich Arabic language globally, and disseminate Arabic and Islamic culture among non-native speakers.
