UAE Moments: US President George W. Bush visits the UAE

US President George W. Bush visited the UAE in 2008 on a two-day official visit to the country as part of his Middle East tour.

It was the first visit of a US president to the country during which Bush was decorated with the Zayed Order by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Bush praised the close relations between the two nations, adding that the American people have great respect for Arabs and Islam.
