UAE delivers spare parts to Al Mukalla

Al Mukalla: In a bid to resolve the issue of power shortage in Al Mukalla in Yemen, the UAE delivered on Wednesday spare parts and filters that will help boost the power sector.

The move is part of the framework to ease the burden on Yemenis who have to endure periodic power cuts. The initiative is an extension of the UAE relief campaign carried out through Emirates Red Crescent, said Mattar Al Katbi, head of the UAE relief team in Hadhramaut. The current shipment is the fourth delivered to the power sector on the Hadhramaut coast, he added.
