Abu Dhabi: A joint military exercise by UAE and the US land forces began on Monday in Abu Dhabi.

Code named ‘Iron Claw 2’, the training is part of the military exercises the UAE Armed Forces undertakes throughout the year, aiming to enhance combat capability, gain more field experience and understand military doctrines.

The drill also aims to increase joint operational coordination and maintain the one-team spirit under a common strategy to raise combat readiness and handle different types of sophisticated weapons and equipment for operational purposes.
