Sharjah Ruler restructures municipal councils

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued Decree No 67 B for 2015 restructuring the municipal councils of Hamriya Zone and Khor Fakkan city.

The Hamriya Zone municipal council will be headed by Hamid Saif Bin Khalifa Bin Samha Al Shamsi.

The decree also stipulated that the Khor Fakkan municipal council will be headed by Abdullah Mohammad Salem Al Naqbi.

The decree also stipulated that the councils elect a vice-chairman in their first meeting. The term of the council’s membership will be two years.
