Sharjah: As part of its new community initiative, “12 Challenges in 12 Months,” the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, in collaboration with the Sharjah Volunteer Centre, has announced the launch of the first challenge for January, titled “Best Volunteer Idea.”

The initiative is designed to foster a culture of volunteerism and encourage individuals and organisations to submit innovative volunteer ideas that contribute to sustainable community development.

Stimulate community involvement

What sets this initiative apart is its monthly challenges, each with a distinct theme and hashtag that invites the community to engage in a non-competitive manner. This approach aims to strengthen the spirit of volunteerism, encouraging dedication and selflessness in service to the community.

Both the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work and the Sharjah Volunteer Centre have called on community members to participate in the first challenge, stressing the importance of submitting innovative and impactful ideas that contribute to the welfare of the community.
