Shaikh Zayed book award on May 11

Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Shaikh Zayed Book Award will hold its award ceremony on May 11 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The award had named His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as the Cultural Personality of the year for its 2014-2015 ninth edition.

The award also announced the winner of the literary award, Osama Al Eisa, Palestinian author, and Hanao Haro, Japanese author, who won the translation award.
