Shaikh Mohammad meets with media

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai accompanied by Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Inc visited the Media Centre affiliated with the Arab Media Forum in Jumairah on Wednesday in Madinat Jumairah.

Shaikh Mohammad met with a number of media members, writers, and Arab journalists from all over the Arab world. He talked with them about the forum’s activities, its meetings and the facilities provided by the Dubai Press Club and the Higher Organising Committee for the 2,000 plus guests from the Arab world and across the globe.

In his remarks at the meeting, Shaikh Mohammad commended the role media people play in accurately portraying Arab countries. He also emphasised the importance of commitment to professional ethics and principles to provide a clear road map for the next generation of Arab media.

Meanwhile, Shaikh Mohammad met with the representatives of the major sponsors of the Arab Media Forum. He commended their role in achieving the success of such events, establishing the good reputation of UAE and consolidating the principle of cooperation and integration between the country’s private and public sectors.
