Romania, UAE discuss relations

Aims to strengthen investment cooperation

Bucharest: Shaikh Ahmad Ali Al Mualla, Ambassador of the UAE to Romania, has received the Romanian Foreign Minister, Titus Corlatean.

During the meeting, they discussed future of bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of bolstering political and diplomatic dialogue and communication at all levels.

The two sides tackled economic development and existing trade exchange between the two countries, as well as strengthening investment cooperation, which would contribute to enhancing the bilateral relations.

They said that the Joint Economic Cooperation and Technological Committee, scheduled to be held in June, would find best ways to develop economic ties between the two countries.

For his part, Romanian Foreign Minister emphasised full support to the UAE ambassador to discharge his mission, which would contribute further to cooperation between Romania and the UAE.
