President bestows Order of Independence on Singapore ambassador

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan yesterday (Wednesday) bestowed the Order of Independence (First Class) on Umej Singh Bhatia, Ambassador of Singapore to the UAE.

The order was granted to Bhatia in recognition of the efforts he exerted during his tenure to bolster and enhance the friendly and cooperative relations between the UAE and Singapore.

The order was presented by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at his office in the ministry.
