Mohammad says there will be no Cabinet changes

No changes in Cabinet, says UAE's Vice-President and Prime Minister, adding that Charter will include the UAE's vision of the future

Al Gharbia: There will not be any changes in the current cabinet, the UAE’s Vice-President and Prime Minister said on Saturday.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, gave a statement at the conclusion of the Cabinet deliberations at Qasr Al Sarab Resort in Liwa.

Shaikh Mohammad also announced the issuance of a National Charter for the UAE for the year 2021, which will coincide with the celebration of the UAE’s golden jubilee, themed “We want to be among the best countries in the world”.

Shaikh Mohammad identified four key elements for the National Charter: ambitious and confident people who hold on to their heritage; a strong federation; a competitive economy led by creative and knowledgeable Emiratis; and finally a high quality of life in a generous and sustainable environment. 

He highlighted the importance of the National Charter that will include the UAE’s vision of the future.

Shaikh Mohammad called on the ministers to be ready for the upcoming phase of the national duty internally and externally so that “our UAE remains the world’s focus of attention and earns global respect with its achievements”.
