Mohammad Bin Zayed receives Zinni

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Wednesday Anthony Zinni, retired US Marine Corps General and US Special Envoy, who is currently on a visit to the UAE as part of a regional tour.

Shaikh Mohammad and Zinni discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the UAE and US, and ways to bolster them for the mutual interest of both nations.

They spoke about recent regional developments, and emphasised the importance of coordination and consultation concerning these developments.

Shaikh Mohammad and Zinni also discussed issues of common concern.
