Latifa calls for nurturing of Eid spirit

Eid promotes philanthropy, tenderness and tolerance

Dubai: Children should be imbued with the spirit of Eid which stands for charity, compassion and cultural tolerance as encouraged by Shaikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wife of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

Shaikha Latifa called for the nurturing of the Eid spirit under the patronage of the Shaikha Latifa Bint Mohammad award for ‘child creativity’. She emphasised the role of parents in instilling the right values in children and promoting the spirit of Eid, specifically the encouragement of philanthropy, which is in line with Islamic ethics and beliefs, expressed by extending support to the underprivileged.

Shaikha Latifa referred to Eid as a precious occasion to reward people after a month of fasting with celebrations, shared love and fraternity. She also congratulated Muslims around the world on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
