Khalifa to lead UAE delegation to Riyadh

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan will leave tomorrow for Riyadh to participate in the ninth Consultative Summit of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The meeting will be held tomorrow. The UAE President will be accompanied on the trip by a high-level delegation, including Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Interior Minister; Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister for Presidential Affairs; Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Dr Mohammad Khalfan Bin Kharbash, Minister of State for Financial and Industrial Affairs; and other senior officials and diplomats.

The Gulf leaders will discuss, among other issues, the situation in the region and current developments at the regional and international levels, in addition to following up the implementation of resolutions issued during the 27th GCC Summit in Riyadh last year. They will also discuss ways to further boost the GCC's march to meet the aspiration of their people.
