Khalifa calls for rain prayers

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has called for prayers for rain — Salaat Al Istisqaa — be performed on Tuesday in all mosques and musallahs across the country.

The prayers will be performed at 7.30am.

Shaikh Khalifa called on Muslims living in the country to pray to Allah for blessing the land with rain, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad  (Peace Be Upon Him) to seek rain from Allah.
