Fujairah Ruler pardons 53 prisoners

Fujairah: His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, ordered the release of 53 inmates held in various reformative and penal institutions in the emirate, on the occasion of Ramadan.

The gesture comes as part of Shaikh Hamad’s keenness to grant pardoned prisoners a new lease of life and ease the suffering of their families.

The former inmates are of different nationalities and were chosen based on a proven record of good behaviour during their prison stints.
