Fujairah Ruler arrives in New York to take part in interfaith dialogue

New York: His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, representing UAE President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived here late on Monday to take part in religion summit on interfaith dialogue, which starts on Tuesday.

Shaikh Hamad is scheduled to address the gathering on Wednesday. The three-day conference is held under the theme culture of peace and dialogue among religions and cultures.

The conference is organised in response to a call by King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of the United Nations.

Shaikh Hamad will also hold talks with a number of leaders of sisterly and friendly countries taking part in the conference.
