Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced that the UAE flag will be flown at half-mast in all government departments and institutions across the country on November 30, from 8am to 11.30am. The announcement comes as per the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to declare November 30 of each year as Commemoration Day.

The UAE will mark November 30 of every year in memory of and in tribute to the sacrifices made by the nation’s martyrs and its loyal people, who offered their lives to keep the UAE flag flying high while they were performing their national duties within and outside the country, in civilian, military and humanitarian fields.
