Dubai Islamic Bank’s Zakat funds will be distributed to beneficiaries
Dubai: The Dubai Islamic Bank has donated Dh15 million to Sharjah Charity International.
Abdullah Saif Bin Hendi, Director of Administration of Sharjah Charity International received the Dh15 million cheque from Abdul Razzaq Al Abdullah, Head of Community Services Department at DIB.
Abdul Razzaq Al Abdullah stressed the bank’s keenness on distributing Zakat funds to most charitable societies and associations licensed to work in the country to meet the urgent needs of Zakat beneficiaries, especially during Ramadan and in conjunction with the “Year of Zayed”.
For his part, Bin Hendi expressed his thanks to the Dubai Islamic Bank for its continuous support for the association, praising the humanitarian, charitable and societal role of the bank. The association will distribute Zakat to its beneficiaries, he said.
