DM wins Arab social award

Dubai: The Dubai Municipality has won the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility Award along with a certificate in the area of social responsibility in the Arab world for the year 2012, The award aims to encourage public and private institutions in the area of social responsibility and to highlight their role in contributing to sustainable development, environmental protection and community service through participation in awareness events and supporting the economy until it becomes a culture of community.
