Abu Dhabi Police to allocate Dh1.3 million to United Nations fund

Abu Dhabi: In line with the directives of Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Abu Dhabi Police is to allocate Dh1.3 million to the United Nations search and rescue efforts.

The money is to be allocated from the proceeds of rare number plate auctions, which were held recently in Abu Dhabi.

According to Major Mohammad Al Ansari, Head of the Ambulance Section of the Abu Dhabi Police, the donation is part of the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police to lend support to search and rescue operations around the globe.
