Abu Dhabi Community Police give gifts to children with special needs

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Community Police distributed gifts for children with disabilities on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, a statement by the Abu Dhabi Police said.

The children belong to the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs.

Col Mubarak Bin Mahirom, director of the Abu Dhabi Community Police said that communicating with different sectors in society is a prime goal for the local authorities and that adding happiness to those with disabilities came under the strategy of the community police.

Jasem Obaid, a media presenter, dressed up as a teddy bear and helped distribute the presents to children who also participated in competitions revolving around their knowledge of the UAE.
