Clean environment

The project, said Gergawi, goes hand in hand with Shaikh Mohammad's concern over the health and welfare of future generations, and preserving and protecting the environment.
"The project's idea was also embodied previously in Shaikh Mohammad's decision to establish green buildings that are environmentally friendly, that participate in restricting the usage of power and protecting natural resources from being wasted.
The project stands out in that it concentrates on increasing green areas, which will reach 73 per cent of the total project area of 880 million square feet, with a total cost of Dh 200 billion.
The project consists of four houses. The first is the "House of Wisdom", to include translation houses, a central library, knowledge gardens, international organisations quarters, international universities, history and science colleges, a mosque and Shaikh Mohammad's masjid.
