Dubai joins 40 cities to fight climate change

Dubai has become a member of C40, an elite group of 40 cities across the world leading the way in the field of protection from climate change. This was revealed during a workshop organised by Dubai Municipality on the phenomenon of climate change and the ways to reduce its impact.

The membership of Dubai in C40, represented by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai, allows the transfer of knowledge in the field of climate protection and sustainable infrastructure, benefiting from international reports, studies, research and indicator results, and identifying the experiences of successful member cities in mitigation and adaptation.
