Eid sales: Checks urged on livestock price
Ras Al Khaimah: The Ministry of Economy has urged livestock customers to ask the traders to present the original receipts of livestock on display should they have any doubts about the price.
A senior ministry official said the public should play a role in controlling the price of livestock especially during Eid Al Adha.
He stressed a decision had been taken this year not to allow traders and suppliers to unilaterally hike the price of livestock. He said that inspectors have been instructed to keep a strict eye on the price of the livestock.
