Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced on Sunday that Eid Al Fitr holiday in ministries and federal institutions will start from Sunday, 28th of Ramadan 1432 (28th of August, 2011) to September 3.

The circular was issued by Humaid Mohammad Al Qutami, Minister of Education, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources

The private sector will observe the first and second days of the month of Shawwal as the Eid Al Fitr holiday. The workers will be entitled to two full paid days, as per the decree signed by Labour Minister Saqr Gobash Saeed Gobash.

Al Qutami and Gobash extended Eid greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, the government and the people of UAE and all residents in the country.
