As the long weekend unfolds with pleasant evening weather, residents across the UAE are flocking to public parks and family-friendly attractions to enjoy extended relaxation and recreational opportunities. With Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha officially declared public holidays from June 5 to 8, 2025, many families are planning to make the most of the festive break by visiting the emirates’ green spaces.

To accommodate the anticipated influx of visitors, municipalities in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman have announced special operating hours for their public parks and leisure facilities.

Here's a full guide to help you plan your outings this festive weekend.

Dubai: Extended hours at major parks

Dubai Municipality has rolled out special operating schedules for public parks, sports walkways, and leisure venues during the Eid break.

Park timings in Dubai (June 5–8):

  • Residential parks and squares: 8am to 12 midnight

  • Sports walkways: Open daily from Fajr prayer

  • Major parks (Zabeel, Creek Park, Al Mamzar, Al Safa, Mushrif Park): 8am to 11pm

  • Mushrif Park – mountain bike track & walking trail: 5am to 6pm

  • Quranic Park: 8am to 10pm

    • Cave of Miracles & Glass House: 9am to 9pm

  • Dubai Frame: 8am to 9pm

  • Children’s City:

    • Weekdays: 9am to 8pm

  • Fridays & Saturdays: 2pm to 8pm

  • Sharjah: Family parks open early

    Sharjah Municipality has extended park timings to welcome families throughout the Eid break, from June 5 to 8.

    Sharjah park timings:

    • Rolla Square Park: 7:30am to 11:00pm

    • Sharjah National Park: 7:30am to 11:00pm

    • Green Belt Ladies Park: 7:30am to 11:00pm

    • Al Suyoh Family & Ladies Parks: 7:30am to 11:00pm

    • Neighbourhood Parks: 4:00pm to 10:00pm

    Ajman: Parks open late into the night

    Ajman’s Municipality and Planning Department has also issued special timings to ensure families enjoy safe and relaxed evenings in public spaces during the Eid holiday.

    Ajman park timings (June 5–8):

    • Public parks: 4:30pm to 11:30pm

    • Al Rashidiya Park: 3:00pm to 12:00am

    Note: Parking is free across all emirates during the holiday period, with regular fees resuming from Monday, June 9. Authorities advise residents to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines while enjoying public spaces.
