City’s iconic projection sites for festivities come alive to mark Eid Al Adha
Dubai: From Burj Khalifa to Deira Clock Tower, the city’s iconic projection sites for festivities came alive to mark Eid Al Adha celebrations in Dubai over the weekend.
As is customary, the world’s tallest tower that adorns Downtown Dubai lit up with a special Eid Al Adha show.
The developer, Emaar Properties, has posted a video of the Eid special show on the world’s largest LED screen. Along with the ‘Eid Mubarak’ messages, images resembling fireworks and floral designs were part of the show.
“Wishing you and your family a blessed Eid filled with love, compassion and togetherness,” Emaar posted.
Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality has adorned the iconic Deira Clock Roundabout with festive designs and Eid Al Adha greetings as part of the #EidInDubai celebrations. The illuminated landmark features vibrant Eid-themed decorations, adding to the festive atmosphere across the city.
From families enjoying Eid dishes to children cherishing Eidiya, traditional images of Eid celebrations have been included in the display on the surface of the Clock Tower.
The Deira Clock Roundabout, a significant architectural landmark in Dubai, has recently been recognised as one of the most beautiful clock towers in the world.
“As part of the #EidInDubai celebrations, #DubaiMunicipality lit up Deira’s iconic Clock Roundabout with festive designs and Eid Al Adha greetings,” the municipality posted.
The city's other landmarks and streets have also been illuminated with festive designs, creating a joyful atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
