The UAE’s education sector is awaiting the announcement of the top achievers in the Grade 12 final exams, expected on Sunday, according to sources at the Ministry of Education. Meanwhile, the Ministry confirmed that final exam results for secondary school students—covering Grades 9 to 12—will be released tomorrow (Monday), marking the beginning of year-end announcements for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Results for students from Grades 1 to 8 will follow on Tuesday. According to the Ministry’s schedule, results for Grades 5 to 8 will be announced at 10am, followed by Grades 1 to 4 at 4pm.

The Ministry emphasized that all results will be accessible through the official “Student Portal,” in accordance with the announced schedule for each educational stage. Students and their guardians will also be able to print final certificates electronically through the same platform.

Make-up exams from July 4 to 10

As per the academic calendar, students who did not pass the first round of final exams will sit for make-up exams from July 4 to 10. The results of the make-up exams will be analyzed and published on July 14.

The Ministry also announced that the summer break for students begins tomorrow, continuing until August 24. Meanwhile, teaching, technical, and administrative staff will begin their summer break on July 14.

Before the start of the new academic year, educators, administrators, and school leadership teams will participate in a professional development program. Details of the program will be announced by the Ministry of Education at a later date.

Detailed schedule

On Monday, the Ministry has allocated the morning for announcing Grade 12 results at 10:00 a.m., followed by Grades 9 to 11 at 4:00 p.m. On Tuesday, July 1, results for Grades 5 to 8 will be released at 10:00 a.m., and Grades 1 to 4 at 4:00 p.m.

The Ministry clarified that students and parents can view the results via the Student Portal starting from 8:00 p.m. to midnight on the day of the result announcement for each respective grade group.

The academic calendar also confirms the start of summer break for students on June 30, lasting until August 24. Staff break begins on July 14, and they will undergo a mandatory professional development program during the week preceding the start of the new academic year. Further details of this training initiative will be disclosed soon by the Ministry.

He has reported on major historical events such as the Iran-Iraq war, the liberation of Kuwait, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the establishment of the Palestinian Authority. His work continues to shape and influence journalism in the UAE and the wider Arab world.
