Tourism-specialised university opens in Dubai

Dubai: A new university, offering specialised tourism and hospitality courses, called MODUL University Dubai, was officially inaugurated today.

The opening ceremony of Austria’s top international private university was held at MODUL University Dubai’s 25,000 square foot campus at ONE JLT, Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai.

Over 100 students from 32 different nationalities, with 20 per cent students from overseas, have enrolled in the first batch of programmes at MODUL University Dubai, which specialises in undergraduate and MBA degree programmes in hospitality and tourism management.
