Khalifa University to open biotechnology centre

Abu Dhabi: Khalifa University announced its plans to open a new research centre devoted to the study of biotechnology, which will be headed by well-known Emirati scientist Dr Habiba Al Safar.

The Khalifa University Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology will be a hub for research and development, encouraging interdisciplinary translational research within the industry in order to develop the nation’s pharmaceutical, health care, biotechnology and life sciences sectors.
