First Arabic teaching forum to be conducted

Abu Dhabi: In order to enhance Arabic skills among pupils across the emirate of Abu Dhabi, dozens of educators will meet later this week at the first dedicated forum on Arabic language learning and teaching methods.

The forum is being organised by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec), and it will present an opportunity for teachers to discuss their experiences

Dr Mugheer Al Khaili, director-general at Adec, said that the Adec is focusing on the development of Arabic language skills, and the forum will be organised to discuss the best teaching practices in use. He added that the forum would also work to evaluate Arabic language teachers in terms of their professional standards, curriculum standards, classroom skills and community impact.
