Final exams start from June in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Final examinations in Abu Dhabi for the 2013-2014 academic year are expected to begin in schools and adult education centres, as well as for home schooled students, from June, the Abu Dhabi Education Council announced.

Grade 12 pupils enrolled in the Literary stream will attend examinations from Sunday, June 15 to Thursday, June 26.

Those in the Scientific stream will be tested from Sunday, June 15 to Tuesday, June 24.

Grade 6 to 11 pupils at public schools in both Scientific and Literary exams will start from Sunday, June 15. Pupils in Grade 6 will end on Wednesday, June 18, while Grade 9 pupils will finish on Sunday, June 22. Grade 10 and 11 pupils will attend exams until Monday, June 23.

In private schools, morning adult education centres and education care centres, Grade 6 to Grade 11 pupils will run from Sunday, June 15 to Thursday, June 19

G6 (private schools only) to G11 (scientific and literary) exams will be organized from Sunday, June 15 to Thursday June 19, for G6-G9. As for G10 and G11 scientific and literary sections, exams will end on Monday June 23, 2014.

In private schools, morning adult education centres and education care centres, exams for Grades 6 to 9 will begin on Sunday, June 15. Grade 6 to Grade 9 pupils will finish on Thursday, June 19. Grade 10 and 11 pupils will attend exams until Monday, June 23.

At evening adult education centres, exams will continue from Sunday, June 8 until Thursday, June 12 for Grade 7 to Grade 9 pupils. Grade 10 and Grade 11 pupils will attend exams from Wednesday, June 4 to Thursday, June 12.

Home schooled pupils will begin exams on Wednesday, June 4. Grade 7 exams will end on Thursday, June 12. As for Grade 8 and Grade 9 exams, they will run from Tuesday, June 3 to Thursday, June 12. Grade 10 and 11 pupils in the Literary section will run from Sunday, June 1 to Thursday, June 12. Scientific stream pupils will be tested, on the other hand, from Tuesday, June 3 to Thursday, June 12.
