Door to higher education scholarships opens in UAE

Abu Dhabi: The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced scholarships for both full and part-time students.

The ministry has already begun receiving applications, and will continue to do so until June 13.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research said: “The objective of these scholarships is to ensure the graduation of qualified and globally competitive manpower through the creation of a distinctive education environment to add new successes to the achievements of the previous ministry that will together be turned into a tangible reality.

“The ministry’s vision includes the establishment of a higher education coordination council, setting out unified university admission policies and striking a harmony between ministry and state policies towards meeting the UAE’s 2021 goals.”

The scholarship applications can be found on the ministry’s website www.mohesr.gov.ae or at the ministry in Abu Dhabi.
