Dubai Media Office calls the claims 'fake news', urges public to rely on official sources

Dubai: The Dubai Government has denied reports circulating online that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted a data centre belonging to US technology company Oracle in Dubai.
In a statement posted on X, the Dubai Government Media Office said the reports alleging that the IRGC had launched or attempted an attack in Dubai were “fake news” and had no basis in fact.

Dubai authorities have repeatedly cautioned against the spread of misinformation, particularly during periods of heightened regional tensions, stressing the importance of relying on credible information, and urging the public to obtain updates only from official government sources.
IRGC has previously warned it will target major US technology companies if tensions escalate with Washington, saying more than a dozen firms could become potential targets in retaliation for attacks against Iranian leaders, according to statements reported by Iranian media.
