Dubai-based author's work on happiness and being human unveiled

Mariam Behnam, a celebrated Dubai-based author yesterday launched her latest work, "Raindrops - A Journey Through Life".

The book, published by Motivate Publishing, is the latest offering from the author, who represents the current breed of story tellers from the region.

The new book contains 50 short essays, which Behnam refers to as "raindrops", through which she illuminates her musings on happiness and being human.

In this collection, she also outlines the philosophical guideposts for a better life. The essays are light, interesting, anecdotal - each one presenting a small facet of what people see in life.

Raindrops is published by Motivate Publishing with support from Jashanmal, one of UAE's well-known retail brands.
