DTTC receives 605 trainees in May

Dubai Transport Training Centre (DTTC) received 605 trainee drivers during May.

Some 88 drivers received courses, which include theoretical and field training.

The DTTC tested 476 drivers, who wish to join Dubai Transport, and 41 others intending to join companies endorsed by Dubai Transport to operate taxi services.

In addition, the Dubai Transport Training Centre has issued work cards to 215 officials and drivers working in Dubai Transport, and issued permits to 316 taxi drivers working with other transport companies.

Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, Director General of Dubai Transport, explained that the theoretical and practical courses are very important, and help improve the performance of the driver so as to be able to provide customers with optimum service.
