Driver killed in Sharjah accident

Police are investigating the incident which involved a collision between a truck and van

Sharjah: A 48-year-old Filipino man died in a traffic accident on Wednesday in Sharjah, a police official said.

The man died in a collision between a truck and a van on Al Zubair Bridge near Al Hamriyah area of Sharjah.

The police have detained the drivers of the vehicles involved in the accident for investigation and the body was transferred to hospital.
