Dates were eaten in UAE, Gulf during Bronze Age

Archaeological works and historical studies have yielded evidence that dates were eaten by people in the UAE and other parts of the region during the Bronze Age (3000 to 1300 BC) and Arabian Neolithic era, said experts at a conference on date palm culture.
