While Dubai is known for it's spectacular giveaways with property purchases, Damac properties has just set the bar higher with unique prizes, including a private island, private jet and luxury cars, the company announced on Sunday.
Anyone who buys a Damac property during the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will immediately be entered into a raffle draw with a grand prize of a new eclipse 500 private jet worth a whopping Dh5.5 million and the Mega raffle prize of a private island in Pelican Caye off the Caribbean Sea.
Regardless of the draw, every customer will get a Bentley or BMW depending on the type of property purchased.
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Hussein Sajwani, chairman of DAMAC properties, said, “DSF 2008 is celebrating it's 13th edition and we are privileged to be a prominent “support sponsor'' for an event which has grown bigger and exciting each year.'' The DAMAC prizes for this DSF period are worth Dh90 million, he added.
Peter Riddoch, CEO, DAMAC properties said, “This festive season gives us the opportunity to reinforce our commitment to our esteemed customers and creates a perfect forum for us to build awareness and increase sales.''
Damac has properties spread across 500 million square feet and is worth $30 billion. Damac holding was a specialist catering company which was established in 1982. It currently has property in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon and Egypt.
