Two held with fake 500,000 Saudi riyals

Sharjah: Sharjah Police on Tuesday  arrested two Arab men who allegedly intended to distribute 500,000 Saudi riyals (Dh489,505) in counterfeit currency.

"The two suspects were touring various commercial shops in Sharjah, trying to promote the forged money which was professionally duplicated," explained an official at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Sharjah Police.
