Three arrested for stealing international calls

The men used a combination of programs and hardware to steal and sell international calls

Sharjah: Three men were arrested by the Central Investigation Department (CID) of Sharjah Police for using sophisticated programs to steal and sell international calls.

The three men, A.M.S., M.B.M., and M.A.H., from Bangladesh, were using a combination of hardware and software along with hacking programs to sell international calls at low prices. The men were tracked down by the police at their apartment in the Industrial Area of Sharjah where they confiscated the programs used to carry out the illegal practices. The offenders have been referred to the public prosecutor in Sharjah.
