Sibling bungling

Dubai: Two brothers who allegedly broke into an apartment but failed to find any valuables were produced before the court on Tuesday.

Court records show the Georgian nationals, E.B. and S.B., who came to Dubai on visit visas, burgled a unit in the Garden City Building in Al Muteena belonging to Iranian S.G.A., not knowing the owner's wife had already taken all their jewellery to her father's house a week before. As result, the brothers failed to find anything significant.

The two were caught shortly after the fruitless heist and have been charged with breaking into private property, trespassing and attempted robbery.
