Ras Al Khaimah A bank customer said he was robbed yesterday when he stepped out of a bank after withdrawing money.
The authorities are currently investigating the case after the two suspects managed to flee the scene in the Al Nakheel area.
Sources said an Arab national went into the bank and withdrew Dh24,000 from his account and returned to his car.
The man put the money on the back seat and was about to leave the parking lot when he was reportedly approached.
The suspect allegedly knocked on the car window and said that a rear tyre was flat and needed to be changed.
The sources said that it took the man only a few seconds to step out of his vehicle, check the tyre and come back.

The victim ran after the suspect who told him about the flat tyre and grabbed him.
The suspect reportedly managed to tear himself free and flee a second time after he threatened to stab the man.
The sources said the dangerous situation prompted the man to let the suspect flee.
He then created a scene at the entrance of the bank and people reported the case to police.
An investigation has begun after the descriptions of the suspects were provided.
