Man found hanging in work place, suicide alleged

Umm Al Quwain: A Nepalese man was found hanging from the ceiling of a room at his work place in Umm Al Quwain on Wednesday evening, a police official said Sunday.

The 35-year-old victim was an employee at a marble factory in the emirate, the official said, and allegedly committed suicide.

The police official added that the victim was already dead by the time officers reached the place of the incident after receiving a call that an Asian had committed suicide.

Investigations on

He said police are investigating the case and are trying to find out the reasons behind the death. The police took down the body and sent it to hospital for an autopsy.

This is fifth case of suicide committed in Umm Al Quwain since the beginning of this year, the police official said.
