Customs seize 27 grams of opium
Dubai: The customs inspection centre at Dubai International Airport confiscated 27 grams of opium from a suspected passenger on Wednesday.
Dubai Customs inspectors indicated that the drugs were discovered while searching the baggage of two passengers.
6.8 grams were carefully hidden inside transparent plastic bags in the wallet of the first passenger, while the second passenger had 19.6 grams of opium hidden inside his shoe and covered with a black scotch tape and a blue carbon paper.
