Court upholds suspended jail term for lawyer

Dubai: A court has confirmed a three-month suspended jail term for a renowned Emirati lawyer found guilty of consensual sex with a European woman.

The Dubai Court of Cassation upheld the Appeal Court ruling on Monday.

The sentence will be suspended for a period of three years.
